Parameters

value  String
Input string to process.
testString  String
String to be counted.
startIndex  Int32  (Optional)
The index at which to begin value
matchCase  Boolean  (Optional)
Set to false for case insensitive search

Return Value

Int32
Total number of the occurrences of testString in the given string.

Usage Note

In Visual Basic and C#, you can call this method as an instance method on any object of type String. When you use instance method syntax to call this method, omit the first parameter. For more information, see Extension Methods (Visual Basic) or Extension Methods (C# Programming Guide).
