Parameters

word  UInt16
2-byte, 16-bit unsigned integer value.

Return Value

Byte
The low-order byte of the specified 16-bit unsigned integer value.

Usage Note

In Visual Basic and C#, you can call this method as an instance method on any object of type UInt16. When you use instance method syntax to call this method, omit the first parameter. For more information, see Extension Methods (Visual Basic) or Extension Methods (C# Programming Guide).
Remarks
On little-endian architectures (e.g., Intel platforms), this will be the byte value whose in-memory representation is the same as the left-most, least-significant-byte of the integer value.
