Parameters

value String: String to encode - null string will be encoded as empty string.
tag SampledValueTag: Sampled value tag to encode.
buffer Byte: Buffer to hold encoded sampled value.
index Int32: Start index of buffer where tag will begin - will be auto-incremented.

Usage Note
